9 Conclusion
Initial work on re-implementing a computational model of autopoiesis was carried out by a former student of McMullin, Hyder Aswad. We are also grateful to Francoise Jullien and John Mingers for making available their independent re-implementations of the model of [11]. Ms. Marita Prandoni and Ms. Peggy Jones provided invaluable assistance in translating original documents from Spanish. All errors in the current paper remain, of course, our own responsibility.
