The project deals with the experimental study of passsively mode-locked semicondcutor lasers for various optoelectronic applications.
Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant experience in laser semiconductor characterisations, experience in laser simulation will be a plus. The successful candidate should be highly motivated, with a track record of achievement. He/She will work as part of a team on this project, which includes a number of postgraduate researchers.
The position will be filled for one year in the first instance, with the possibility for renewal for a further two years.
