Scintillation Spectral Measurements.
Scintillation Spectral Measurements.
Measure the spectrum in time and space of the scintillation
of the light from a star.
Develop a system for moving an image so as to maintain the
focal point on a photographic plate or CCD.
Study the correlation of the image movement as a function of
the angular separation of two stars.
Use the spectral information as a method of analysing the
movement and thermal properties of the moving cells in the
upper atmosphere which cause the scintillation.
Use the technique to carry out analysis of the turbulent
structure of the air along a horizontal path across the
city.
