Dr. Conor Brennan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1994 with an honours degree in Mathematics. He completed his PhD in 1998, under the supervision of Dr. Peter Cullen of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering,Trinity College Dublin.

From 1998-2002 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Cullen's radio propagation group. In that time he worked on several Government funded projects, in the area of propagation modelling and computational electromagnetics. In 1999 and 2002 he was awarded URSI Young Scientist awards.

He is a member of the IEEE and has published widely, both in international journals and at peer-reviewed international conferences. He is a reviewer for the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation In 2003 he joined the of the School of Electronics, Dublin City University, where he is the joint leader of the RF modelling and simulation group.
